Dr. Kirsten Bryson was born and raised in Calgary, participating in numerous sports and activities including competitive soccer, waterskiing, swimming, and long-distance running. From a young age, she was able to personally experience the incredible and lasting benefits that regular chiropractic care has on both injury treatment as well as injury prevention, and it quickly became an imperative part of her health care routine. This firsthand experience with chiropractic medicine inspired her to pursue a career helping others enjoy a pain-free life and continue to excel in their athletic endeavors. She attended the University of Calgary, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science prior to moving to California for chiropractic school.
Dr. Kirsten is a dual board-certified Chiropractor in both Canada and the United States. She attended Palmer West College of Chiropractic in San Jose, graduating with her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2015. During her time as a student at Palmer West, Dr. Kirsten was an active member of the Palmer West Sports Council giving her the opportunity to work with an array of athletes while gaining clinical expertise treating sports injuries at numerous events such as the Sea Otter Classic Bike Race, San Jose State Rugby games and North Face Endurance Challenge. With her strong passion for helping others, Dr. Kirsten also jumped at the unique privilege to travel abroad and provide chiropractic care to patients of all ages in villages and schools in Fiji, which was one of the highlights of her academic career.
Upon graduation, Dr. Kirsten worked at a multi-disciplinary sports clinic in San Jose where she gained invaluable experience treating a wide variety of patients ranging from children to professional athletes. She returned home to Calgary in 2018 where she worked at a collaborative health clinic for over two years prior to co-founding her own clinic in 2021.
Being an avid learner, she has continued her education by taking additional certifications including Active Release Technique (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Functional Movement Taping (Rocktape), all of which she incorporates into her treatments. She also utilizes chiropractic adjustments and rehabilitative exercises to ensure her patients receive individualized, well-rounded care specific to their needs and goals.
As a Chiropractor she strives to not only provide the highest quality of care for her patients in the clinic, but also works to educate them on what they can do at home, empowering them to be active participants in their own health and wellness. Dr. Kirsten's goal is to help her patients feel better, move better and live better.
Dr. Kirsten loves to spend time adventuring outside or travelling and is happiest by the water. When she is not in the clinic you can often find her running, hiking, swimming, waterskiing, wake-surfing, and spending time with family and friends.
